Run With It
Take an idea and investigate it further. https://getsling.com/blog/business-terms/
A business term that means to take an idea or a project and move forward with it, often with a high degree of autonomy and creativity. It refers to the ability to take ownership of a task and see it through to completion, with minimal direction or supervision. This term is often used in a brainstorming session or team meeting when a colleague presents an idea or suggestion, and someone else in the group expresses their interest in taking that idea and running with it to make it happen.
An example of “run with it” in business coaching could be a coach encouraging a client to take ownership of a project or idea and move it forward with confidence and determination. The coach may help the client identify their strengths and resources, set clear goals and timelines, and develop a plan for executing on their vision. By running with their ideas, the client can demonstrate their initiative and leadership skills, build momentum and make progress toward their objectives. The coach can provide guidance and support as the client navigates any challenges or obstacles that may arise, helping them to stay focused and motivated.
