Circle Back

We’ll get back to that if we have time. https://getsling.com/blog/business-terms/

In a business context, the term “circle back” typically means to revisit a topic or issue at a later time or date. This may occur in situations where a decision cannot be made immediately due to lack of information or the need for further discussion or consultation. For example, a manager may say “let’s circle back on this next week after we’ve had a chance to review the budget,” indicating that the issue will be addressed again at a later time. The term is often used in a professional setting as a way of indicating that a topic is not being ignored, but is simply being postponed until more information is available or more discussion is needed.

As a business coach, one of my main goals is to help my clients stay on track and achieve their goals. When we hit a roadblock or something comes up that we need more information on, I always make sure to “circle back” with them. This means I’ll do some research, consult with other experts in my network, or simply take some time to think things through before coming back to them with a solid plan of action. By circling back, we can ensure we’re making the best decisions possible for their business.
