Headhunting
A recruitment method is used to identify and attract top talent for a particular job. This approach involves actively searching for candidates who possess the desired skills, qualifications, and experience, often by directly contacting individuals who may not be actively seeking new employment opportunities. Headhunters typically have extensive knowledge of the industry and market, and they work closely with the hiring company to ensure that they find the best candidate for the job. This method is often used for high-level positions or for positions that require specialized skills and knowledge.
Business coaches may recommend headhunting as a means of recruiting top-level employees for their clients. The headhunter would help identify potential candidates, evaluate them, and present them to the coach and client. For example, a coach might recommend headhunting to find a new CFO or Director of Marketing. This approach can be especially valuable when the client is looking for someone with a specific skill set or expertise that is hard to find through traditional recruitment methods.
